Louisville police responded to a call over the weekend in Norton Commons after an altercation caught on video that shows a man confronting a group of people, shoving three young women and grabbing the neck of another.

The man, who has not yet been identified, will face a first-degree strangulation charge, according to a redacted police report released Monday.

The person who submitted the video to Louisville’s wrote that the man and a woman he was with confronted the group for failing to follow social-distancing guidelines designed to combat the spread of the coronavirus. Three people who were there at the time of the incident confirmed this account.

Update, apparently guy is a doctor.

The Louisville Metro Police Department on Tuesday, the day after King's tweet, identified the man as John Rademaker and said he had been arrested and charged with four counts, including first-degree strangulation and harassment with physical contact.

A police report said the incident happened Friday at Norton Commons, a residential community. A brief description of the encounter said Rademaker "without consent ... applied pressure to victim's throat and impeded her breathing." The victim is identified as an 18-year-old Hispanic woman.

Probably the president of a shitty home owners association.

Guess strangulation is within said guidelines.

What must it be like to think choking a teenage girl is a good idea

If anything, the last couple of weeks has truly revealed a couple of things about people amongst us. One is that there are a group who yearn to be told what to do by the government and love to comply. The other is that there is a large group of people who really think they know better than everyone else what people should be doing and wish to impose that on others. This guy fits in the latter.

Close but the group who think they are the “enforcers” are not a separate group from the government boot lickers they are a subset of that group.

They think the government is infallible and everyone needs to blindly follow what they say and will act like this guy and physically enforce it.

We are losing the American ideal in front of us the more of these types there are. These are prime candidates for Brown Shirts.

These kind of people make me sick. They are zealous authoritarians who would have gladly turned in their neighbors to the SS in Hitler’s Germany.
This case reminds me of programs on ID where people claim, my Catholic Faith didn’t allow me to divorce my wife, so I killed her instead!
What’s worse in this case, the group standing close together or him strangling her?!

Is anyone not surprised at this??? I am not justifying his actions!!!! But when people are not following rules by staying home or social distancing and things are not being enforced, you are going to have people that get tired of it and think they need to say or do something. We are not far from someone killing someone because they are fearful of the safety of their family from a person that test positive and is walking the streets. The legal system will have their hands full then trying to sort that one out.
