What do you feel would be your response (you being armed) when an enraged idiot banged on your door with a pistol then stuck it in the window at you?
Personally, I would assume he was about to kill me.

This is number one. And as a police chief told me if you shoot, shoot to kill.
Guns should not be used as an intimidation tactic, especially nowadays when many are carrying them.

A few months ago a guy as swinging at me through my open window while I was at a red light in Raceland.
avoided his punch’s while he hit the door jambs.
Someone called the cops, I spoke to the detective. He told me that I could have killed him since he pulled the door open. Didn’t even press charges as he was a miserable meth head. That’s enough for one person to carry.

I am more shocked now that I'm posting on the 7th page of this thread, just how many people looked at the same video I did and still either did not see the firearm at all or believe the assailant pointed it into the window. WRONG on both accounts.

Never understood people that pull or brandish a weapon and don’t use it. If you have a gun and flash it to someone you best use it. Otherwise you can and will get killed yourself.

I hope you're joking. If you are resorting to deadly means, you use them with intent to kill. If this fella had shot the perp in the leg, now he's in a gunfight in a disadvantageous position
