I hope that pilot was fired. There is no excuse to make that mistake.

the pilots glider looked pretty legit though. When i was in brazil they had some with duck tape on it and they couldn't care less. No way..

Americans love to sue, but I wouldn't. I'd just want someone to pay for my medical bills.

Then, I'd thank the guy for skillfully landing quickly and accept his undoubtedly sincere apology for almost killing me.

I am not overweight but I couldn't hang on for 2 and a half minutes. My body itself would be about 3 pounds lighter before the fall, but I am certain the suit would have held that in, therefore, it wouldn't have helped.

Guy had some grit about him. to him.

That man has some serious chest! I doubt that the vast majority of people could dead hang for that amount of time and this dude is hanging on with one hand, without a glove, for half of that ride? I wouldn't have thought that it was possible if I hadn't seen it.

I still can't wrap my head around how long he held on. Hell of a grip. Guess survival is a real thing.

I kept thinking how I wouldn't have made it half as long as he did. Especially when his right hand was not grabbing anything. I would have fricking died. literally

this sounds like the title of a 1970s TV episode of Mannix or something.

i tend to avoid any activity that requires landing junk first on the ground at speed, is that really how they are supposed to land? because it looks painfull
