I'm good with it. Would have been better if a big brotha was standing outside the door and heard him drop it as he left the store and knocked him out, too, tho
Well that's exactly how 'big brothas' get legally shot the frick dead in parking lots.
ETA: I did find out that Drejka got charged with manslaughter... but not murder.

How exactly?
And “bad words” are just that, words. I get called bad shite all the time. Should I be able to get the people that called me them fired? (If they had jobs to be fired from?)
Should I be justified bringing or calling for physical violence because someone called me a name?
It’s asinine.

This didn't just cost him his job. It cost him his career.
No one in the area where he has chosen to build his life is going to hire him. And if he does move, a quick Google search is going to bring this up. Even if he completely changes careers, its going to be tough for him.
He should not have said it, but we should all hope that we aren't judged on our weakest moments. Social media is a cesspool. The initial reaction was to find out who this was and where he worked and make sure he is fired, even though he went back in and apologized.

Man, if you think Mikelbr is a racist, you are a fricking tard.
He may be vulgar, boorish, uncouth and have Zero filter...but racist he isn’t.

Let's be honest here, there aren't that many people in Jackson, MS who are really going to give much of a shite about this

maybe he isn't but he sure seemed especially triggered at the thought of some retributive justice.

Or..... maybe he(me!) seemed to be associating your scenario with a recent deadly incident in Florida where a man thought he was justified in pushing another man to the ground for yelling at his girlfriend.
That man, by urban definition, was a 'big brotha' and is dead now.
The shooter will not likely do any serious time(initially he was not charged at all).
Don't be sofa king presumptuous, poon.

“Retributive Justice”.
Where’s the Justice in destroying a man’s career, his ability to support his family, pay his bills and be a contributing member of society, because he had words with some bitch?
You think she was just being sweet as pie and he acted unprovoked?
He didn’t harm anyone. Whatsoever.
I’d Bet a paycheck She’s used the word on social media.
No one is harmed by calling people names. Annoyed, aggravated, sure.
But being offended doesn’t hurt.
So get off your high horse.

white people got to be smarter than that. you got to call her a silly willy.

Just the fact that she’s recording tells you the kind of person she is.
it tells you that she was smart enough to get evidence to show her boss the customer was out of line for when he calls in and denies he did anything wrong while trying to get her fired.

You would be the owner of a donut shop in MS, and are probably paying this worker $8/hr. You get what you pay for, and she ain't getting fired.
This dude was 100% wrong. No excuse for this, esp knowing that you're on camera.
bullshite. They can both be wrong. This isn't a binary situation.
He should have just called her a count. It gets the point across the same way without the racial blowback.

What kind of sociopath goes to pick up donuts and ends up in a situation like that?
Posted on 8/13/18 at 4:27 pm to anc
Video leaves out a lot of context prior to that exchange. I hear her smart off something at the beginning. The guy shouldn’t have said what he did but I wonder what she did to piss him off? I’ve dealt with a sassy black woman before and they can really get you riled up
Posted on 8/13/18 at 4:35 pm to Dr RC
If I recall the video opens with her calling him a “son of a bitch”. What makes you think she is a smart person? The fact that a whole segment of society films altercations vertically for a living?

It’s Mississippi. Some private practice will hire him after people forget about it in a couple weeks. Trust me I live here I hear white people use that word every day all day

Gravy is on it. He's after some heads booooy...demanding people be fired left and right. Of course, not a word about Baltimore.
Fat arse says anything he can to try to stay relevant. And yet he still claims he's a "business owner".
