Not saying what he did or said was right but, I would still like to see the other half of the video. Like the half where she egged him on to the point she knew he may say something so she pulled out her camera.

Sounds like you don’t really need to see the other part of the video because you obviously have made up your mind what happened before the video clip again.

conveniently, we aren't shown what led to that point ... my money is on the worker being a total bitch and the customer reacted. Again, all we are shown is HIS reaction. Someone(probably a black co-worker) was on cue with the cell phone!!
frick all that! People wonder why their is prejudice against blacks????

He should be fired, obviously.

Once a video like this hits the internet, that's a no brainer that both of them should be fired.

Same here.

This game up with Scruffy over the weekend.

Was told I needed to get with the times and get an Instagram and Snapchat.

Scruffy said, “nope”.

Risks far outweigh the benefits.

Giving a word that kind of power is the real problem.

We're a country of goddamn sheep now. It's pathetic.

Why take sides? You said yourself that we don't know what led to the conflict.

All I can see is that both sides are belligerent trash.

He may or may not be. I know he said n*****, but people will say anything when they are pissed off at someone just to make them mad. I know how that goes. When someone is mad, they think of the red-button issue that will set the other person off. And obviously to a black person, that's the n-word.

I was just thinking the same thing. When my girlfriend was AWFULLY mad at me one time, she told me my family liked her better than me and my kids would be better off if I was dead.

Of course she didn't mean all that but... you get the point.
This guy was engaged in a heated argument with someone. He didn't sign a receipt with the N word on it or something else premeditatedly racist.

As Chris Rock said, you can't be mad and PC at the same time.

We've become a nation of wolves
Ruled by sheep

Owned by swine
Overfed & put to sleep

Decrees what to think

I am wide awake
On the edge
And on the brink

I don't care what someone is saying to me or how I'm being treated. I never feel the urge to call someone a n-word and would especially never do it while I'm being filmed. You can call someone so many other things. I just don't see the need to resort to that word. It will never end well if you do. Gotta be smarter than that.

I agree that the guy should've kept his composure and shouldn't have said it, but what really irritates me was on Facebook. There is a page with hundreds of comments, and someone asked what I thought was a valid question. When are we going to hold people accountable that say that same word towards people of their own race? Of course, the person was blocked from further comments and everyone shrugged it off.

What do you guys think?

How do you get into a verbal altercation at a donut shop in the first place?

Precisely. Either the word is offensive, or it’s not. How can you only be offended by people of a certain color saying the same word that you and your pals use casually in conversation among yourselves all day long?
Wouldn’t that be racist?
If it’s offensive, let’s ban the word entirely (surely that would violate free speech, but what the hell ),make everyone stop using it and make it illegal to listen to loud music in public that prominently blasts the “N word” to everyone around you.

I get that what he said isn’t appropriate in 2018, but why should the guy be fired? And on what grounds is the hospital firing him on?

I don’t know, but that guys life is ruined because he made a really poor choice of words during a heated argument, and someone got their feelings hurt. I just hope he doesn’t have a family to support. They will suffer the most.
