I don't begrudge her the arse-whipping, there are probably more kids that need it, but it's clear he learned that disrespectful behavior from her.
A good parent doesn't cuss their young child like that, even if they are mad at them.

Without reading the article I bet its more about the language than the beating. Could be wrong but i would say that her dropping the N bomb several times is the more 'outrageous' act.
