Same boat here, my wife just had a breakdown watching that video & was pissed I sent it to her to watch.
I had to inform her that her mother-in-law has done equal or more in my childhood, and that she loves the man I have become.
My arse got the paddle from the principal then the same paddle beat my arse from my mother, all in 5 a matter of 5 minutes, then got my arse whooped with the belt when I got home.
I don’t condone the name calling & I will admit the mother could have handled the situation a little more professional.
My mother has been gone for 11 years now and I will tell you this. I would give anything to have that 5 minutes back that she was whooping my arse just so when she was done to tell her I Love Her & Thank her for loving me. I’ll take that arse whooping to have that 5 minutes back with my mom.

The reason this mother is like this is because I'm sure she has seen A LOT of shite that has happened to kids whose mothers WEREN'T like this. Would I take this approach with my kid? No. But when you have teenage black boys being shot in the streets because mom doesn't care how you spend your days and dad is gone, I can't blame this lady for laying down the law.

I don't agree with her belting him, but getting in his face and making it clear that the behavior is unacceptable is good parenting. More kids need to fear their parents. Straight up. Stop letting kids get away with shite. People whose parents let them do whatever they want become shitty adults.
