We really need to revamp our education system. Schools should be segregated by sex. We need more male teachers. I’m not sure how exactly you get more men in the classroom without paying them more so we may have to reduce pay for female teachers to pay the men more.
Also we really need to stop admitting so many women into college. I think an over educated female population is one of the main drivers of societies ills. Notably, lower birth rates.

The fact that women are dominating in society shows that we are creating fake jobs to keep people occupied when the only real jobs we need are farmer, builder, and warrior

This is true. But you are also underestimating the growing percentage of childless cat ladies that are emerging. By 2030, almost 50% of women in the childbearing age range will be single without children. In the coming decades, women will choose to work longer.

Maybe these women are your wives? Don’t you want them home with your kids? Re dental hygiene, does it pay better and offer benefits now? At one time years ago, while the hourly pay was good, most worked part time multiple jobs bc dentists didn’t provide benefits or full time. A relative left the field for another career.

This type of attitude is exactly why men are falling behind.
I worked in warehouses for 8 years. I drove machinery, I unloaded trucks on a busy dock, I had a job that kept me busy doing various tasks. One of my warehouse jobs was at a plumbing supply store, dispatching drivers, unloading trucks, talking to tradespeople.
The jobs were fine. I was making shite. The plumbers were making more, but most of them weren't making any more than $20 an hour. The foremen and owners were obviously making way more, but most of them walked with a limp, had a substance abuse problem, and were surrounded by dickheads all day.
It's not a life you want. There were some really good guys there, and I'll tell you most of them looked out of place. Honestly, most of them would have been better off doing a job that required more aptitude, like sitting in an office and doing work that the tradespeople i was around didn't have the aptitude for. Actuarial work, accounting, operations management, attorneys, etc.
By reinforcing this stereotype that men do manual labor, you're giving men a free pass to be shite heads in school. You're giving them free passes to shirk responsibility because they are just going to do a trade or work a physically demanding job. They're never going to use math, so why bother. Which by the way is a load of shite.
I think there are a lot of things wrong with the way the school system teaches kids, but the fact is that the differences between men and women (and there are differences) are FAR overstated precisely because men have been telling men their entire lives that they need more stimulus and that school and "office jobs" aren't for them. You know who are typically the best performing kids in school? Boys. The worst? Boys. Because there's this sink or swim mentality and we are so goddamn worried about men not being able to provide that you put them in a bucket in 1st grade if they aren't showing aptitude and they start to believe it.

with OT maybe but that is not a traditional trade either. Most instrument techs are going to be between 35-50 an hour so close. But you will more than likely need minimum associates in it. Same with operations and you are competing with hundreds of others for every single one of those jobs.
now with OT and benefits both are over 100k. but most places you will work shift work too. Great jobs with great benefits but not traditional trades either.
your plumber/electrician/welder/hvac tech/pipefitter/boilermaker/machinist/milwright etc are not making 100k while working normal shifts and sleeping in their own bed everynight

Things will only get worse if the type of men who would do well at college stop going to college. (Because then all of the institutions will just get even more feminized). That said, I think it now definitely only makes sense for a man to go to college with very clear aims about what he will gain from it.
What really needs to happen is that young men need to find a fighting spirit, go to the best university they can get into, and inject some courage into it.
The issue is that things today that seem designed/destined to make young men less likely to stand up and change things.
It takes a special young man to defeat the temptations of sluts, video games, sports betting, social media, etc (hedonism, in a word). Maybe there are signs that things are now getting bad enough that men are waking up a little.

I genuinely don't know why people on this board cannot understand this.
It's a hard life for those guys. The ones that are working journeyman for a local company, 40 hours with minimal OT/weekend work are either getting paid lower than market rate or they are incredibly lucky.

100% spot on. We, as a society, are expecting way too much from children these days at way too early an age. It’s almost as if a kid doesn’t hit certain benchmarks by age 8, there cast into the “other” category. I see it with everything. Academics and sports. And it’s wrong.

i mean i agree with this and have said for 2 decades now with the cost of college that going for the traditional liberal arts education just to be educated doesnt make a lot of sense unless you want to go to grad school or some form of secondary school for something more specific.

why would you want a young man to avoid sluts? I understand we want good Christian men, but there is nothing wrong with sowing oats when in college either, at least for men and yea i know its a double standard
sports betting is also fine in moderation
how the frick are video games adn social media bad? can they become that if you become addicted...sure but in general they are not at all.

I finished my degree, but I could have used a year or two between HS and college to mature. I needed a dose of the real world.
