yeah, there is a thread on the OT bashing private insurance.

I'm sure these people would rather deal with Fema....

L.A. fire victims are about to get a taste of the ineptness of FEMA after a disaster.

According to their leaders and FEMA they will get 100% disaster relief.

So tax payers in Florida/ NC that got their $700 can now pay for these $1.2mil homes to be built back the rest of their lives.

I’m guessing the fires are better today since we’re on page 2?

On one hand, I don't see how she isn't recalled at this point. On the other hand, it's Los Angeles.

Elect incompetent people. Get failing results. Kinda like the New Orleans terror attack. Blue Cities.

However, the beginning of this thread was riddled with posts about DEI and blaming Bass (whom has nearly zero control over this), and that's what most of us are pushing back on.

You don’t think DEI played a part?

It’s like a real life version of the Babylon Bee.

Name a Democrat run city in California that doesn’t have self inflicted issues.

Gavin Newsom

This is a day after he lied to a lady on the street that he couldn't talk to her because he was on the phone with the President. When she asked to talk to the President he said he was actually trying to get through but didn't have service.

that was embarrassing for him. Pretending to be on a call with the President then getting busted and then saying he had no service yet he was acting like he was on the phone.

YOU'RE PRETENDING TO BE ON THE PHONE WHEN YOU KNOW YOU DON'T HAVE SERVICE??

frickING liar.

Almost as bad as Kamala pretending to use the phone when reporters tried to talk to her.

Is there anything more phony than a Democrat?

Lifted from Youtube: "I'm reminded of when Ronald Reagan was President. When he and Nancy would take a vacation, they would go to their ranch in California and he would clear brush like a MAN. The media would bash him for this. Everybody with an common sense knew that in a dry environment clearing brush and cutting fire breaks is necessary."

I'd forgotten his trips to the ranch where he took a chain saw and absolutely worked his butt off. I don't remember the leftists flipping out over it at the time.

The question is how much are insurance premiums in middle America going to skyrocket to cover the damage in Cali?

We will be the ones who end up paying for this, and the estimated damage is over 120 billion so far

I know I most certainly disagree with this lady politically but I did gain some respect for her in this interview for standing up for her FD personnel and also appears to tell the truth about how the budget cuts & lack of resources over the years was a contributing factor in these fires
