This is fricking tragic. I hope this doesn't become an urban fire in a more densely populated area. It's much harder to evacuate people in scenarios like that.

I am an overly cautious person.
I send my wife and daughter away for even low grade hurricanes.
I don’t understand the mindset of “let’s wait and see”.

I was watching CBS live when they were in Altadena this afternoon and two youths were running away from a house very suspiciously.

Man, watching this Hollywood Hills/Runyan Canyon fire spread is extremely scary. The fire officials on CBS LA sound very ominous. Heed all warnings and evacuate immediately.
