I’ll never understand why some people get so mad at weather threads being started on here.
Of all the stupid bullshite posted on this board, these are actually useful. Even if the storm system is a bust, the threads still provide useful info along with entertainment value

It’s because people always feed the trolls, can’t help themselves.

Gonna spend the afternoon restaking the aerators the last storm system blew loose in the ponds so tonight and tomorrow can blow them loose again just to give me something to be pissed about Sunday

Hope it was sans the dog.
When dogs fly LSU will win a men's basketball game.

Exactly. Threads like these are a public service and they are also interesting to us weather geeks who have always liked this stuff.

Here are graphics from a few of the local NWS offices in the region regarding the Saturday round of severe weather:
NWS Birmingham, AL:
NWS New Orleans/Baton Rouge, LA:
NWS Jackson, MS:
NWS Huntsville, AL:
(These graphics should update automatically here when those NWS offices update them.)

What’s going to keep supercells from forming and being violent in my area this evening? It’s 82 degrees and wind is ripping. Dewpoints in the 60s

Probably a cap in place right now.

And there it is. SPC has added a high risk area for tomorrow.

As of right now I don't get to claim this High Risk, but it is way too close for comfort.

Seems like that high risk area is basically the new tornado alley

When was the last time Alabama had a "high" category?
