It looks like they took the picture from I-10 so that is just covering the exit, though who knows what it looks like now.

HOLY shite that red river progression is amazing. Now all that water has to make its way down the Atchafalaya

So crawfish prices should plummet this weekend with Texas cut off, right?

Where is that Red River photo taken?

Just go down through port Arthur and cross the state line down along the coast

I had some good times out there when I was in college. I had access to the island across from the camps. Back in the early 90's

I used to live in Frenchman's Estates on Military Rd, and we had a decent sized bayou in the back yard. Our whole house would get surrounded when it would flood. I'd bet that place has water knocking on the door right now

Interesting. We lease it and hunt on it now. Us and 2 neighbors.

I just went down Military by there and half of the road was under water. Still passable, but not by much.

A farmer friend of mine owned it years ago before he sold it to the corp. I built a huge duck blind in the back of the oxbow. Always wondered if it was still standing. Great memories

La_dotd has now posted on twitter: I-10 at the Sabine River, near the Texas State Line, is closed to traffic due to flooding.
