You've been bitching for quite a while but there are numerous safe ways to get from Ruston to BR. It's not really that big of a deal, just go home.

I was just on 12 over the tchefuncte, it was high but not crazy, just barely out of the banks from what I could see. Don't know when it's forecasted to crest or how high

Just talked to family member and they said it has a long way to go to reach Katrina and Isaac levels. We shall see

I truly hope that everyone in Louisiana is as safe as possible. The flooding looks really bad. Please stay safe.

Will that cause major flooding problems? Over 22 in Madisonville?

Just go to Rayville and South on 15 through Natchez and down to BR. We are on our way to Houston from Monroe and have to go this way, then jump over to Alexandria before Natchez and down to Lake Charles from there.

Oh shite, man. Don't give him any more options. It's taken him 2 days to pull the trigger on I-20 to I-55.

I went to LaTech and made that trip many many times to our camp in South Mississippi and then to BR. Just don't go over 5-8mph over on 55. Those Mississippi State Troopers love writing Louisiana tags speeding tickets. I don't know if this route is flooded, but a route i would regularly take was:

Ruston
> I-20
> Highway 425 (Rayville exit on I-20)
(This takes you through Winnsboro, Sicily Island, and Ferriday)
> Highway 61 (Natchez)
> BR (I-110)

There are a hundred speed traps that route, but it's a 4-4.5 hour drive from Ruston to BR. I've driven it 100 times. I'm sure someone here can tell you if that route is flooded out. If so, take I-20 to 55 and.....

at worse you can sleep at my hunting camp in Liberty/Centerville. Turkey Season son. And we got them in droves.
