I mean the article says she was by the entrance to Pelican Lakes. Yes Gardere is not far away but she was not “by Gardere.”
There’s also a Waffle House now at Staring and Burbank. Could have been walking home from there.
If she were east of the Waffle House, that would be sketchy. Sounds like she wasn’t.

It is prounced “fee” when it follows a vowel. It’s prounced “Fi” when it follows a consonant.

Perhaps just rumor, but was told she left a bar in Tigerland with several guys earlier that evening. Ended up a few miles away.

Where were her friends/sorority sisters? I did stupid things in college while drinking but always had friends making sure I didn't get hurt.
