I mean... this is pathetic. 2 weeks?? I guess all that deferred maintenance is catching up.

Seems like a sticky situation.

Quad about to be stacked!!!

Actually, pretty good weather to have a/c maintenance scheduled. Not freezing cold nor super hot yet.

I've seen the AC sitting in the quad

Knowing how old LSU is and how recent central AC is, I often wondered how classes went back in the day. frick that....

Go hang out in one of those buildings without AC for one day and get back to me on that.

Run by a jet engine...probably needs a good tune up,possibly rebuild.

Money allotted for A/C's went for the aging group.
They needed new shirts.

Ac is a commodity. POW POW didn’t have ac back in the 30’s on his diary farm during the depression.

AC issues in February? Go tigers.

Water for the AC is cooled by those large cooling towers by the stadium

I went grades 1-12 South of Houston graduating in 1972, 90% of the classes had no A/C, had buddies that went to LSU in the 70s, their dorm rooms had no A/C that was the norm.

Pussies - when I attended LSU in the 50s and 60s the only air conditioned building was the one housing the giant IBM 1620 computer.

It’s already been hot in my office for weeks. Our building had boiler issues during one of the freezes. They actually allowed non essential people to stay home as it was below 60 F on some floors.
I suspect this is what happens when you fail to do routine maintenance because of the way your budget is structured.

Strategically deferred maintenance so the academic elites can continue to pad their payroll, with a systematic plan to beg for emergency funds to take care of their own buildings. It's how LSU rolls.

I am certain that this is somehow Joe Alleva's fault.
