DS...sir....you predicted this right after the election in 2016. You were very angry at the results and told this board on more than one occasion that we had no idea the hell that was going to be unleashed by the left. You forewarned us because you know the mindset. But I don’t think that in your wildest imagination you would have predicted this. You wanted a square fight on issues...not anarchy and cultural marxism.

Most places have a grievance system where a student may appeal their drop through either the department chair, committee, and/or the academic dean. In 95% of cases, faculty dropping students is due to attendance issues, though, so these rarely get appealed.
In this case I imagine LSU would be opening itself to a great amount of liability in the appeals if a student was dropped in her class. Academic freedom is broad, but I can't see how it goes that far.

And now the response by the right will be even bigger. The pendulum is swinging back and forth at a wider and wider rate, and picking up steam in the process.
As a country we all need to figure out a way to take a deep breath and deescalate.

Yep. It's easy to take the most reactionary position in response to the leftist insanity. Don't. There's a real issue with academic freedom here becuse of nutjob professors like this one. Saying racist type shite detracts from those arguments and gives them an excuse to keep pressing the agenda. Don't make her a martyr.
