I honestly might look into this shtt.

I can VBA you out the room, know SQL but am terrible at prompting. Just a 40yr old who needs some direction.

Edt:

Nvrmind, I'll keep on teaching myself.

we had someone who looked like that at my office who was 'training' those of us who have Claude on how to use it.

she got so many things wrong i was sitting there like

i'm not the smartest tool in the shed but damn she gave out the worst information ever; so many things absolutely WRONG and so many things she assumed were true because "ai told her it was true"

Just go to Udemy.com and you'll be able to take several AI courses for a whole lot less than that!

What level of understanding is required to complete that course?

I’m better than most but not advanced.

Udemy has courses for all levels of users. From basic prompting to advanced agentic stuff.

The courses have ratings so look for one that sounds good and has close to 5 stars.

It’s really easy once you get the hang of it. You can use your favorite AI platform to teach you to prompt better. I’m your age roughly and have gotten really good at it.

That's one thing a lot of people don't realize.

Let's say you go round and round with AI and finally get what you want.

Ask it: "What prompt(s) could I have used to more effectively get to the same outcome?"

Coursera Plus annual membership is $399.00 and has a ton of AI courses that can add certificates to a resume. Even provides cert "badges" that can be linked to LinkedIn profiles. Aggregating courses one by one at your own pace and that cost is pretty dang valuable. Tons of courses through corps like Microsoft, Nvidia, Google, IBM, Amazon, Wharton, Vanderbilt, Illinois, Penn and a ton more. Could be worth a look.

I know very little about coding and I asked ChatGPT to help me with coding and it did. You just have to know what to ask it.

I guess what I said is confusing.. If I know what to ask I should be able to code right? Well, what I did was tell it that I wanted to write code for something specific and that I didn't know anything about coding and asked it to teach me the basics, which it did.. Then I was able to use what I learned from there to get me started and it just evolved from there.

This.

LsU also offers a legit 10 month AI certification for a lot more than $2300.

It is also far more difficult.

What do you think you're going to learn in 5 weeks?
