Congrats on sitting on the sidelines and making money off the balls off businessmen. Without us, you’d have nothing.

Without me, they’d be less tax efficient, would overpay and not know how to correct it. Just this week I recovered about $11 million dollars of overpayments by a tax payer, they were pretty thrilled about it.

I hope he’s successful. He answered a lot of my questions, I do still think he’s putting a lot of eggs in some pretty flaky baskets, but hopefully that doesn’t come back to bite him

Sums of which are mostly unimportant to him. Seems he’s having a great time with this and you’re just being a nerd, ding dong.

Where will it be located? Liverpool 1? Husband is Liverpudlian & we go back every year to visit family. Generally, in September when the Tigers are playing easy games.

Will definitely stop in & it won't be hard to convince the fam to meet us there for a meal. I'll be sure to wear something LSU. He & his family are all LFC, but I turned him into a proper, die-hard, Tiger fan. I think we can all agree as long as ManU isn't in the conversation, we're all good.

Good luck & just an idea we've always talked about doing in Liverpool that would absolutely be a hit... my husband had some leftover frito misto one day from Domenica the night before. I picked up a loaf of poboy bread. He put the frito misto on there, then put my leftover tikka masala sauce on top. Curry fried seafood poboy. It was top!

Nailed it!
Corner of Victoria and Stanley, about 50 steps from Matthew St.

That would be AWESOME.

That sounds exquisite. I’ve put that on our “menu specials” spreadsheet.

I’m heading back to AL at the end of this month, but will be back in Sept/Oct for 30 days.

If/when y’all are popping in, send me an email, please. Reggie@sususneworleanskitchen.com

I have a buddy from Bristol, originally.

There, at least, he says New Orleans and Louisiana and Mississippi and Memphis and the jazz and the blues and early rock and roll were a fascination with everybody.

There's a venue there named https://www.thelouisiana.net/

Great! I'll definitely let you know when we're coming over. We usually stay at The Municipal, so right within walking distance. I'll let the in-laws know, too. They all live in The Wirral, but go to the city all the time to eat. They're always looking for good, new, places & loved Louisiana food when they visited us.

Very happy for you. My husband and I have often discussed how well a real cajun place would do over there, even if it was just poboys, jambalaya, and maybe some etouffee or something. We float the idea of opening a chip shop type place (walk-up) or food truck every year during our visit. Eager to see if you guys turn into the new Mowgli!

Tag the Traveling Brits and try to get them to come out. They loved all things NOLA when they visited.

Names are Josh and Jace

They actually have live crawfish at the fish market!
The season is from like June-Aug, but we plan on doing a boil or two soon.

There's a guy in England called Crayfish Bob; OP should look into that.

We were in England a few years ago, and I noticed that they would slap Louisiana or Cajun on random menu items that bore no resemblance to what we eat. I think that to them it was an indicator of flavor, or at least it had a positive connotation. That bodes well for the concept if that is still the vibe over there.

For example, The Museum Tavern Pub had a Louisiana Burrito that was pretty much a regular burrito with some chiles in it. Louisiana Barbecue was at Borough Market. We asked the operator if she had ever been to Louisiana: Naaaahh.

Oddly enough when i travel. It's usually Brits that I end up hanging with. If they don't like yanks I've never felt that. Talk to a few i met in cartagena often and the couple at the table next to me helped me out so much in Paris. I've had mostly good expuerebces with brits.

There are living wage restaurants in the US. Mostly fine dining.
