When she said that, in my head I actually tried to break it down. So because she stopped a coyote from attacking her dog, if it happens again she wouldn't be able to stop the coyote because she got cocky from doing it once before.

Now that coyote is going to get her friends and return with a gang. Then, outnumbered, a gun will get pulled and someone will get shot. The cycle will continue.
