As a teacher, most of my students are already behind in a normal school year. Now with almost 6 months off from Covid and now storm closures, it’s really gonna be a fun time.

They're closing schools these days for cold weather and predicted heavy thunderstorms. This isn't surprising.

The update at 2 PM had sped up landfall considerably, but I agree. There shouldn’t be any issues before the kids get home from school tomorrow.
I’ve explained many times why school systems do this now, though. It’s all about avoiding litigation.
