It is clear you live in New Orleans... Can't imagine the mindset here
I don't know if it's true, but I heard when that woman at the Costco was carjacked, many people didn't stop to help. Some were actually telling good samaritans to move their cars so they can get their gas.

Wrong. I shouldn't have to worry about taking a couple of minutes to answer texts and emails while sitting in my parked car.

"She had no business walking on Magazine Street or going to a fitness class in the first place..." - NO leadership.

I'm surprised Latoya didn't witness the Fontainebleau carjacking. It happened right by Felipe's around happy hour.

This is so common now that before long it won't even be newsworthy.
New Orleans will turn it into a tourist attraction

Absolutely. In a city that's majority black, who are they trying to convince with that statement?

Wu? If they actually did something about it it would be cause for celebration. But instead they will rename more streets and extend the mask mandate

It is not who they are trying to convince its who they are trying to dissuade from moving in.

Reintroducing the gang task force is a step in the right direction.
The council seems poised to force the mayors hand on a new chief as well.
