Their shitter is far more commodious
Those bathrooms are destroyed by noon

Depends on what I'm getting/doing. I like Lowes as a company better and HD is pretty liberal but I probably go to HD a little more because of selection.

I almost always go to Home Depot, mostly because there's one in Broussard and I can skip Ambassador Caffery.
Plus the tool section is quite a bit larger.

Home Depot because Rise Up
Posted on 1/28/17 at 11:41 am to samson73103
Here Home Depot has more help and better customer service. Lowe's is more convenient so it's about a wash.

They both give me a 10% discount

I thought Lowe's used to have better fixtures and appliances, but Home Depot had better power tool brands.
They are pretty much the same these days now.

Home Depot because we have an account there.

HD is catered towards men and Lowes is geared towards women. I've been a manager for both.

They really do, I typically don't have to search nearly as hard to find decently straight boards for projects. They also have a good selection of cedar boards, they are pricey though.
Side note..
Anyone here ever use Service Lumber in BR ? They carry cypress and a variety of other stuff. Wondering b/c I'm thinking for my next project i'm gonna upgrade from construction grade lumber.

Home Depot is always empty so I like going there.

Home Depot because it smells better

Home Depot. They do military discount 365 days a year. Lowes is only memorial weekend, 4th of July weekend.
Posted on 1/28/17 at 12:30 pm to samson73103
Depends on what I'm shopping for. Most of the time Lowes is better.
Posted on 1/28/17 at 12:40 pm to samson73103
It's better to work at Lowe's. For shopping it depends on what you want to buy. Easy to comparison shop if both are available. Customer service in my area is better at Lowe's but that could be because the Lowe's store sells much more than the HD here.

Lowes, unless I need lumber, then HD. Lowes uses cashiers, which means jobs for someone. HD tries to force everyone into using the self checkout.
Posted on 1/28/17 at 12:48 pm to samson73103
Lowes because the stores are set up better. I can never find shite at HD.

Lowes.
Because Jimmy Johnson > Tony Stewart.
