Joshua is a monster. He should have knocked him out much earlier than that. According to Forbes article:

This an unpopular opinion but Jake actually has some boxing skills… but this an example of when people ask “could a college team beat a pro team”…

Same. He seems like he embraces his “villain” role for show but has a good attitude, praises God and loves America.
it seems people get really angry he’s not a “real” boxer but to be honest real boxing sucks and is a completely dead sport other than Paul himself turning it into a less serious spectacle and getting these guys paid

Only issue I have is that he is the way he did this fight. I don't mind that he's not a professional and typically fights guys past their prime, undersized, or who specialize in other martial arts. But in this fight he was making wresting style take down moves. He was dropping to a knee and shooting AJ's legs rather often to get into clinch. Should have been treated as a knockdown.

He is a moron but a brave one. He should never have fought that dude. Huge size and reach advantage over him. I don't like the Paul brothers but the dude has a big sack to get in the ring with the reach and size advantage the guy had over him.

Seems like a fair point. Isn't he just hyping up these fights and trying to create interest? Then he shows up in clubs and hangs out with women.
As far as I know, none of that shite is illegal.
