They (Landry, Mike Johnson, Dodie Horton) knew what the outcome would be, too, which is the goal: to get national recognition for fighting the conservative fight. Meanwhile, they all spend us into oblivion.

How does displaying the 10 commandments interfere with the parents' 1st amendment rights?

The intent was there and produced some possible goodwill with the constituents, not much different than the executive orders to wipe out student loan debt. They knew it wasn't going to stick but it makes them look good in the process.

The move prompted a coalition of parents — Jewish, Christian, Unitarian Universalist and nonreligious — to sue the state in federal court.

If these people can’t assimilate into Louisiana culture they should move

Louisiana is the 50th best state out of 50. This looks horrible and any non-retarded citizen gives 0 goodwill to these politicians who will be spending our tax dollars fighting a losing battle over this.

Someone needs to make a running list of all the tax payer money Landry has wasted on stupid lawsuits.

Well good thing Louisiana is chock full of retarded citizens, hence the reason you’re 50th.

Actually helping citizens won’t go viral or make his friends and connections rich. Politicians don’t serve you and I.

Sounds like Gov Landry and Omar need to have a talk with this judge.

Omar is no longer welcome in this state.

I always have to check the username first, otherwise it's impossible to tell if it's an el gaucho troll or some retarded poster's hot take.

Something similar going on in Oklahoma. The state superintendent has ordained that ever classroom must have a copy of the Bible.

I'm thankful to the religious zealots for helping to get Trump re-elected, but some of the other stuff they support is just nuts.

If Sharia was not associated with Islam, the Christian zealots would all be in favor of it.
