Maybe I'm reading this wrong but is the dashboard predicting at this infection rate only 16% of people in the boot won't get the China Wuhan Flu?

Pretty sure NE States are falling rapidly as well, even more rapidly in fact. I know Mass. already claims they are pretty much past the Omicron surge.

And yet these states are the source of the hysteria and that won't change as stated in my post.

Only 16% of La hasn’t gotten Covid at one point or another during the entire pandemic. That number jumped up 20% in the last month in Nola metro.

According to this site 84% of the state has contracted Covid at some point over the last 2 years. Which makes sense to me.

Same. I literally need to hold back the rage when someone says it.

It will take another week or so for cases to peak

It's so dumb. They think it's carte blanche to enforce any kind of restrictions they deem necessary because "you can never be too careful."

Out of an abundance of caution, don't move to LA. Don't visit LA. Don't even drive through LA.

This may help. It's about Rt in Quebec but does give some good info on what it means.

It's used all the time in a business setting. I see nothing wrong with it. It eloquently describes conservative reasoning. I also like "for the avoidance of doubt" in describing redundant behavior.

Doesn't matter how many folks test positive, the focus should be how many of those testing positive become ill. Admitted to hospital?
Not enough to matter, certainly not enough to continue this insane fixation our government and media have with Covid.
Link below is a Lex Fridman interview that deals with that question. Very informative and practical. Worth watching, it becomes very interesting early in interview.

As of yesterday, the state hasn't reported cases per parish. Is that because they know Jefferson and Orleans are starting their plummet right now?

I would like to hope that, but probably more than likely the data input nimrods are out pretending to be sick or just being lazy

Bump.

Big drop down to 0.85 today. I’m sure it will adjust up over the weekend, but to get that far below 1 is outstanding.
