My list was mostly based upon climate and topography and also only places that I've been to, but okay
ETA: did you expect a bunch of people to list Mississippi, Georgia, Maryland, Alabama, and South Carolina?

What makes you assume that is what anyone is insinuating?

For me, I need to be in the South and I need to be no more than 60-80 miles of the ocean or gulf.
If it isn't in the US, I'd need to be in vietnam, El Salvador, or dubai.
Either need really good food, or a bunch of baws doing dumb shite for entertainment.
I suppose australia would work if I'm far enough out in the bush.

Every state that I listed has either mountains or beaches, I'm just tired of the Louisiana topography. But, apparently that makes me racist :lol

I’m not telling, I don’t want anyone to follow me and ruin it!

Everyone thinks country people are poor. I live in the rural Oklahoma with my land and cattle and do my own thing.
But I promise there's maybe at most 5 zip codes in the country that would be too expensive for me to live in if I choose to.
The biggest issue foe me is space. Even if I sold the tractor and implements, I have too many toys. A 5th wheel, 2 trailers, a boat, 2 jet skis, a 4 wheeler and a side by side.

North Georgia or Western Tennessee (I'm part mountain-man).
Not many mountains in Western TN... I'd try the other side if I was you.
Been in Knoxville for a little over 4 years now and love it. I do miss friends, but truthfully with kids we were all hanging out less and less anyway. And the food scene is definitely not as good here, but I cook most of my meals anyway. Neither of those were enough reason to regret the deicion. Not even close.

Seems like a consistent topic of discussion with a high % of local residents??

Texas or Florida, maybe AL or TN

Lexington is great for about three weeks in April and for about three weeks in October.

That's cool. I just don't see it get mentioned often. I haven't lived there for over 15 years. School system was good while I was there for K-12. Lots of people there work for the shipyard, Chevron, Keesler AFB, and casinos.
