Louisiana posters comparing the State to Texas

Why? What point are you trying to make?
Texas is not your peer. You will almost always be on the bad side of any comparison.
Try looking what the state is doing as compared with its true peers: such as Mississippi, Arkansas, West Virginia.
#50 complaining "but #1 has this and #1 does that" is just insanity. Set your goals more realistically for God's sake.

99% of the threads on here are Texas lovers bashing Louisiana. Only to have about 12 pages of the same 2-3 posters replying to each other

I don't know any "Louisiana Posters" who compare LA to Texas.
I do see tons of "Texas posters" who constantly feel the need to compare Texas to Louisiana.
For anyone that moved from LA to Texas, if you are happy, I'm happy for you. I lived there for 6 years. I liked it. I like being back in LA more. It's all about what's important to you. If the most important thing to me was maximizing my after-tax income, I'd still be living in a McMansion in Cinco Ranch.
I do see tons of "Texas posters" who constantly feel the need to compare Texas to Louisiana.
