LSU football is a big economic engine for the state whether people want to admit it or not. People travel in and spend a lot of money to see a premier program compete at the highest level so whatever legislation needs done to ensure LSU is right there with the other big brands must be done.

Recruits are not looking at that. They're giving their agents 10-25%.
This administration and legislature are supposed to be trying to REMOVE exemptions to create a balanced tax strategy. Not subsidize entertainment.

This. They are so powerful so as to dictate some of the LDH appointments. Some really talented and knowledgeable programmatic folks have been passed over for outsiders from departments and careers not related to NF operations and regulation.

It's the only one I am back and forth on. Vaping/nicotine is gross, but ehhhh. Would the extra funds even truly go to what they're claiming? A "newly created program".. vague "cancer research". Not so sure here.
