I’m just trying to point out the serious problems the LA legislature has brought about on the state. That’s all. I’m a peaceful man trying to shed some light on what needs to be said. We all need to work together if we want bring Louisiana back up as a state and community

Back when I had the type of jobs working with teens they didn't want to take the breaks and it just made scheduling them more difficult as someone had to be available to take over for them during the break.

What's the big deal? I hated mandatory time off the clock when I was an hourly worker in highschool and college.

Let’s be realistic. If the law says it’s optional, the employer will eliminate it.

Well, not in Louisiana’s case. Landry is a GOP populist who hasn’t done anything good for the state. Neither parties have. That’s the problem. the only good thing he’s done is the open carry law. Other than that he’s done nothing

This is why we'll always have partisan politics. Most people are too dumb or lazy to read past a headline.

I mean, studies have shown that teens who have lunch breaks are more likely to be satisfied with their jobs and perform it to their highest abilities. I’m not sure if taking that away is a good idea.

I actually worked at Denny’s in my high school years. It’s the same thing basically. I remember 10 years ago when that viral video came out showing a punk band playing at Denny’s and their song was called “Denny’s Grand Slam.” The singer was like, “What the fricks up Denny’s?” Song is legendary

Goddamn, they’re really trying hard to make the younger generations want to get the hell out, don’t they? Whatever happened to child labor laws?

The Landry administration and the Republican supermajority are just carrying out their goal of demonstrating to all national and international companies that they should not come here because our state government is populated by the insane.

Seriously, how does any of this crap attract business?

We're glad you left as well. It's to let kids make money rather than having to clock out & take a break.

It doesn’t end breaks.

It gives kids the choice now

If you want to continue your break, do so
