Just find a friendly eye doctor who can write a note for you. The note will allow you apply for a medical exemption for darker tint than what the state law allows. The Doctor's note will say you suffer from a conditions like albinism, lupus, porphyria, or other conditions such as photophobia and now you will be street legal with the inspection sticker if you wish to get one. I refuse to buy one.

Just write “No Sticker Needed - Sovereign Citizen” on an index card and tape it to the inside corner of your windshield. That’s what the internet says.

Thanks for checking in. Just purchased a book called, "On Grief, and Grieveing" by Elizabeth Kubler-Ross. I'm always cautious of hyphenated names but I'll be diving into this one momentairly.

Just don't get an inspection sticker? When you get caught in 6 years, just pay the ticket and go another 5+ years

The state should just increase the registration fees 10 dollars per year and collect a little extra money. They can cut out all the middle men that take a cut from the inspection sticker racket.

Also, now that Trump is in office the EPA can eliminate emission requirements for Baton Rouge area parishes.

That still leaves places like Kenbra and New Orleans that issue city inspection stickers in lieu of the state ones.

Those might be a little harder to get rid of since they are funding sources for those areas.

I'm so glad I live in a state that doesn't require an inspection sticker. I may be wrong, because this is what I was told, but I wouldn't have been able to have the camero and truck of my youth because I ran straight exhaust and didn't have a converter. Is that true...in Louisiana anyway?

If you play this right the YouTube views will more than pay for the ticket and probably bail money if you push it far enough. Throw Mandela Effect in the title somewhere also for the algorithm.

They don't use the tail pipe sniffer anymore. As long as no codes are showing for the emissions system you should be good. O2 spacers and such could help if you can't uncheck the error boxes on an ECU tune.

I haven’t had an inspection sticker in probably 8 years now. There is no need to get one unless you’re an lsu student.

I met a dude who described how he took a photo of a random unexpired brake tag on someone else’s car, printed it using a color copier to get the size right, and taped it to his windshield. Looked pretty good. As far as I know he never got a ticket.

For the OP, I never caught the guy’s name and I think he moved away.

Texas did away with them (effective Jan 1), thankfully.

I got one of the last ones the other day. The guy just asked me to turn on the lights and wipers, that was it.

He said they are pretty much waiving them through now.

The ticket for no sticker is much less than having an expired one

If it's in Baton Rouge, it's the same price. Anywhere else, the fine for no sticker is more than an expired one. I got one in Iberia Parish for expired and it ended up being $252. It was over $300 for no sticker at all. Thankfully, I got it dropped completely.
