There's almost no snow removal or salt spreading equipment in Louisiana. ANY winter weather shuts things down. Don't be on the roads if you don't have to.

Well anything except LSU in my experience from living down there. They would have classes in a hurricane if they could.

Went from sleet, the freezing rain, to light snow, back to sleet in Hammond. Now heavy freezing rain. Looking outside and there’s no “water” dripping off trees. Already got icicles forming on my oak tree out front. This is going to get interesting as it gets colder later today.

I for one am glad the forecast was 3 days off.

I’m sitting in a warm condo in Steamboat because of it. If it would have hit on Saturday I possible would have had to cancel my trip
