Supposed to be flying into New Orleans in the morning. Looks like the freezing precipitation is staying west of New Orleans but I’m worried about being able to get back to BR tomorrow. Any chances the roads will be open or should I just stay where I am another night and fly in Wednesday?

I mean if you leave BR and head West, you will eventually get to NO

Awoke to -2 degrees, sunshine for the moment after 12 hours of snow yesterday, would guess in the 8 inch range.
Getting prepped for round 2
No power loss, yet
Hunker down and stay safe, people

Half of Austin is out of power.
We lost power 3 times Friday through Saturday but have been stable since.

I’m in the exact same boat supposed to fly into MSY at 8 am in the morning. Would be trying to drive into the LP. Not looking good.

I’d wait but not sure Wednesday will happen either

I was going to say I haven't seen any precipitation since like 6:00... then I went outside and walked around a bit...
it's definitely snowing a very fine snow... tiny flakes but they're there

Really shocked all we have gotten is sleet. It’s supposed to change to snow and get a few inches but I’m not seeing it, radar looks like it’ll be gone by lunch and it’s dropped to 14 degrees

Well this storm moves left to right, East to west. Nola is west of br. So it’s pretty normal to see br get something while Nola isn’t.
Are you retarded?

Lost power, now pouring sleet again.

Yes, but the trip is much shorter if you go East

Trees falling down left and right in Pollard
As I type that I hear and watch a big water oak branch snap and fall in the neighbors back yard. Power out across the street.
