If it can get into Louisiana I’d rather that personally. I can find somewhere to stay in nola and creep home when it thaws much better than staying another night In Miami.

Have sleet a foot and a half deep around the house where rain would run off.

This thread has not aged well and by this weekend coming it will really be stale.
Should not be allowed to start these type of threads predicting weather 10-12 days in advance.

Why? watching the prognosticators walk back there prognostications and explain why they’re not really wrong- although they’re dead arse wrong- is entertaining.

Lights flickering like crazy in southdowns. It’s going out any minute now.

Lights flicked a few times here in Denham but still in for now. Seems like the rain has slacked some. My oak dropped a pretty big limb

Has there been any snow in BR, or has it just been too wet for it to stick?
Posted on 2/15/21 at 8:52 am to Nado Jenkins83
Trust me I’d love to, but it’s so damn expensive lol.

we’ve had a few flakes here by LSU but nothing significant and it was mixed with sleet

So far about five inches of powder on top of one inch sleet, still snowing lightly. Maybe a light glaze on trees but they’re not bending or drooping. I don’t ever remember two big snows in one winter. We had almost four inches in January. Praying an ice storm doesn’t hit us Wednesday.

What are my chances of driving from Saint Francisville to Zachary? At the GF’s house and she’s driving me nuts. Need my own space for a few.

I thought I kept hearing transformers blow, but I opened the blinds and it’s really branches cracking off of the trees in our woods.
So bizarre.
So bizarre.

I’ve been hanging and banging here since Friday night. No work today but she’s being super clingy. Asking me “what is it?” every time I take a breath or move.
