Been sitting on the patio wearing my insulated bibs. Forgot about what happens when you fart in these things. Pushes it right up underneath your nose

Sitting on my back patio watching pine limbs snap off. Gonna be tons of this around Baton Rouge , and a lot of power outages as a result.

So strange to see BR getting all this and Nola is completely normal
It’s coming from the west, right?
Just a matter of timing it seems

Anyone know a good way to find the water line and possibly thaw the line.

I think you are wrong several times here but I agree with you

Wgat does this freezing rain mean for BR. I’m not sure how sleet freezing rain works. Tia
it falls as rain... and immediately freezes on whatever it lands on
so... ice... it means a shite ton of ice

Nah there are actually rotating cells coming from the gulf towards Plaquemines Parish.
So you want the tornado or the ice?

Sounds like random mortars going off around here. Seems like a transformer is blowing every few minutes.

The freezing rain in Baton Rouge right now is very concerning. Would love to know how much just came down but all i know is that it was like a summer afternoon thunderstorm just rolled through at 25 degrees.

It means power lines and trees get coated with ice, get heavy and collapse.
