I’m out of town but have someone dog/house sitting. Should they drip a sink or two in the house?

Wasn't expecting a foot of snow. Feel pretty dumb for not making a run Saturday but watched too much hoops.

Just heavy rain in southdowns. Was really hoping we’d get a little snow for the kids to see. This kind of blows to just see normal heavy rain.

Alternating between sleet and light snowfall in Prairieville/Geismer for last 30 min. Trees and roof are pretty iced up...

I’ll be hauling arse back if I hear they’re gonna be closing the bridge.
I would think this may happen tonight, if it gets down to 24 and there is still water on the bridge decks / approaches. Hopefully the precip ending earlier, followed by high winds, will dry it off.

Same here. I figured TD would quickly have the scoop. I've been hearing the "pops" all morning. Hopefully my neighborhood grid makes it. The main infrastructure was completely rebuilt after a tornado destroyed it a few years back. Hopefully the "newness" of it can help it hold up

In Central/Greenwell Springs...live in wooded subdivision, it sounds like the 4th of July with all the limbs and trees crashing all around

Big time thunder here in Watson......just sleeting now

Still snowing pretty good here in stonewall. Blowing sideways.
On a side note, there is not a drop of sleet or snow on the pines behind me. I guess cuz of the wind. That's a positive.

Just cranked up the range to get some heat. Temperature dropping in the house even with the heater running.

Electricity is cutting off and on here in Bellingrath.
I’m a little worried. Not sure if I should leave the heater on or not. It’s gas but has electrical switches.
