Power out in Walker. Thunder and snowfall is weird.

Pipes froze in my house. Didn't drip the faucets enough
Anyone know a good way to find the water line and possibly thaw the line. Obviously won't use a blow torch

It didn’t get as bad as they predicted in the Lake Charles area as far as ice accumulation on trees and power lines. Stay off the roads though!

Just coming to ask about lake Charles. Y’all gonna make it?

We have more to come I think.
My hurricane debris got snowed on during a pandemic. I’ve officially seen it all.

I just went to BR from Ascension to get people with no electricity. The bridge on 73 at the parish line scared the hell out of me. It’s completely iced. It won’t make it another hour before it’s closed.

did the precip just park itself and now it's training over BR?

10 here in NWLA with 5 inches of fresh powder!

So strange to see BR getting all this and Nola is completely normal
Posted on 2/15/21 at 8:22 am to lsupride87
Well this storm moves left to right, East to west. Nola is west of br. So it’s pretty normal to see br get something while Nola isn’t.

Its pouring in Baton Rouge right now and not supposed to get out of the 20s today.

are you saying this was over sensationalized and another model swing and a miss?
It’s 16 here and 3 inches of sleet on the ground. So I’d say no. I think the heavier precipitation went a bit north

That’s one phrase i thought I’d never see used.

Wgat does this freezing rain mean for BR. I’m not sure how sleet freezing rain works. Tia
