Yeah I don’t know if it’s worth it either. Boss already said it would be okay to miss a couple days since we’re technically ahead with the project as of now.

Thundersnow is no joke. It's more than likely positive lightning strikes, which will rock your world.

Im currently doing the same I have to go to Covington from br. I feel like it’s just not worth it

I’ve got to go the opposite direction, starting to think the same. Driving later today could be hairy by looks of the radar

Look at the 511 site/app. There’s someone stuck in the median in elleck. At 28W and MacArthur. I’m very surprised that they have as many roads and bridges open as they do.

Amazingly clear CC showing the sleet/snow transition line. They could use this event in textbooks if textbooks were still a thing.

This is my worry. I don’t want to get to BR, and be stuck at work/end up staying in hotel.

shouldn’t be that bad. Our precip is almost finished

Is the system not inching up on BR right now? That’s what it looks like to me, trying to figure it out now

So are you saying this was over sensationalized and another model swing and a miss?

the line is like 30 miles away from baton rouge. That's not a swing and miss. half the state is under a winter storm

I hear you but the weather % predictions were for 0.50 inches of ice. The probability showed 80%+ of 0.10 inches of ice. Hell the low forecasted last night was in the 20s and the temp hasn’t dropped. Not trying to be an a-hole but are the actual results going to be close?

Lots of rain in Prairieville where I’m at . I’d imagine roads will ice over pretty soon around here.

ABC13 Houston said ERCLA announced there would be some level of rolling blackouts for Houston now/today as well.
