You know something is coming when all the birds are holed up. The only thing I hear is a woodpecker, and my place is usually covered up with birds.

Took the boys out to the woods yesterday. Walked almost the whole lease and the only thing we saw was birds and my brother falling into the creek up to his thighs. Had to yell at my youngest to stop talking shite to his uncle.

So how much ice are we expecting in BR? Neighbor has a yard full of pine trees, they suck at holding ice weight....

Pines are generally pretty good vs ice unless there's a lot of wind.

If worse comes to worse, I’ll throw a pork shoulder on the pit tomorrow.

It is going to be interesting for us. We have one pine tree near the house. Several years back we had the trees around our house trimmed, and the guy took all the lower limbs off the pine tree and just left a few near the top. It looked like a really bad haircut. I may be thanking that guy after this.

If it wasn’t mardi gras week, this thread would be filled with cancellation questions

Cardinals, finches, sparrows, couple of doves, and a metric shite ton of blac birds are waging Jihad on my bird feeders. Rolling thru my 40# bag of black oil sunflower seeds.

They hit ours hard when we got ice this last week.

We're refilling in a bit. Starting tonight through Tuesday we're staring down at about 10 inches of snow and another storm coming through on Thursday.

LSU isn't buying the temperature and precipitation hype.
