Looking more likely BR stays at or below freezing from 6am till the moisture is gone on Monday. This could be an all day long, catastrophic ice event

What part of my post was complaining about the temperature? No one wants a half inch of freezing rain especially in an area where drivers can’t even deal with snow

Lol, apologies, I didn’t mean to respond to you.

I’m having fun with y’all. It’s cold af and miserable in CO. I had to go pick my pupper up from the trainer today bc it’s too cold at the kennels. Talk about fun having 20 dudes show up for their 6-8 month old labs at the same time.

I’ve been walking my older one around a lake all week at around 12-15dg. It ain’t frickin happenin today or the rest of the weekend. Hope you guys get some actual powder to play in!

NELA looks to be on the edge of the snow/sleet line and looking less likely to deal with freezing rain impacts (model runs, don’t take this as what will happen).

I see a lot of variation there with either all snow or a mix of snow and sleet depending on where you are(areas 20 miles apart could be the difference between all snow accumulating up to 8 inches or sleet mixing in and getting a mess of ice and a couple inches).

Too early really for specific impacts but the general trend for NELA is all snow or snow and sleet and SELA should just be hoping for not a lot of moisture as anything falling won’t be snow and will create an icy mess

Yep, thousands of houses with water turned on and no insulation in the attic is a receipt for disaster. Willing to bet 210 & eyeten are closed Mon-Tues.

And 3 degrees down here with all the moisture is incredibly cold. Feels much colder than 3 degrees up north where it’s a dry cold
