I'm willing to bet if you click on it you'll find out.

It just means it is going to be severe weather or ice rain/snow/sleet.

Fact. Completely pointless unless in essential retail/medical or something.

Local plants will have little choice but to have people on the road coming and going. That's a problem in BR I'd think.

that went from 1/4" ice to 1/2" of ice

My brother in law's mom lives in Alexandria. She's older and is suffering from early dementia. I guess I need to tell him to get his arse up there now and bring her to Metry.

We usually have a "hunker down" crew. They get a crew for each unit that stay in the plant until the bad weather is gone and people can travel again. They do this for hurricanes and weather like this. And you get paid 24-7 while you are there, even when you're sleeping on the little cot they provide you.

As long as you have power from 10:30am to 12:30pm on Sunday, you'll be good.

We have not passed 35 degrees in north iberville yet.

I don't think we're gonna hit 50

The high today is supposedly 38 but it’s been 30 degrees since I woke up at 6am and hasn’t changed

Nah, baw. Laura and Delta took out a bunch but they also weakened a bunch.

Hope you got blankets.
Utilities cleared many year's worth of growth fixing all the damage. We've never been better prepared for ice, ever.
