This and maybe a very limited and strict bar opening plan. So like Phase 2.5.

And Destroya will dig her heels in and say no to the bars because her loon doctor advisor thinks that way.

I think that most of them are running at least 75% capacity now in BR. Most of them have given JBE the and more concerned about making money once again.

This is prob true. Husband and I went to Roberto's on the River Sat night and that thing was 100% capacity. No tables distancing, and of course no mask wearing except the workers. It was nice to be around normalcy.

I wonder if the LC area has been able to report hospital data the last few days? I’m sure they have their hands full over there

at least 2 hospitals there have been evacuated .. not sure about St. Pat's. Some may have gone to Texas .. plenty came to Lafayette as well as other areas I'm sure. Source: Brother who works at Memorial as a pharm.

I would say 99% of restaurants don't have the tables to have close to capacity before covid. When the fire marshal sets capacity requirements, that does not mean the restaurant can comfortably fit that many in the place.

Most places are not even blocking off tables anymore. I don't blame any of them if they all decided to open all the way up and make money now. They have been shutdown for far too long.

Good, that’s the only way things will change
I feel bad, I have not been out to eat but a handful of times since this started, I am scared to death to spend any extra money, we are very slow at work & I am paranoid.

Your math is wrong in your 'cases increase' column. 148882 - 148193 = 669

Math is also wrong on 08/30/2020 for 'cases increase' column.

147867 - 146243 = 1624

I'm in the same situation. I love going out to eat and supporting the small places. Hell back in the March/April time frame I was picking up to go food from lots of places to help support them. I even purchased a few bottles of wine at full price.

Haven't been to a nice place since this started and I'm down to only once a week at my local bar. They are doing well with business so I don't feel so bad about not spending money there.

I’m wondering if hospitalizations are nursing home residents from hurricane hit areas that couldn’t be transferred into new facilities until the new facility has a bed ready on the Covid hall

That's a good insight. Certainly would explain the increase when general hospital capacity is impaired due to storm damage.

Hey let's not name places that aren't strictly following the mandate on here. Never know what assholes are lurking and will report to JBE's storm troopers

Yeah I would never name a place.

We finally shamed the old Karen's on our neighborhood facebook group to shut the fck up every time they felt the need to try and call businesses out.

And now the free "surge" testing is back at both LSU and Southern. Expect some numbers to go up in the next couple of weeks

Well the LSU site is actually in the Union, so there's all sorts of shitty food they could entice the kids with
