Why are hospitalizations stuck in 550-590 range?

Total cases by collection date on or after 9/25/2020 - 5,218, plus hospitalizations equals 5,800. The number I posted yesterday using the same methodology was 6,046. There are 246 fewer active cases today than yesterday, a decrease of 4.069%. 256 of the 265 new cases are from test dates during this time.

A lower number of tests and cases were reported today than typically seen on Friday, potentially due to a decreased demand in testing ahead of the landfall of Hurricane Delta.

So how many people live in Louisiana? Am I correct in thinking that more than half have been tested?? But then again, I'm sure some that tested more than once have been counted so maybe not??

This shite is ridiculous. NO reason to extend to November 6 other than it's political. Purely political.

The increase in hospitalizations doesn’t make ANY SENSE AT ALL

Why are the number kr people being hospitalized increasing, while % rate is declining and holding steady?

Are we starting to see the beginnings of flu hospitalizations getting picked up as covid?

4.6 million

I don’t think that many people have been tested, I think nursing home & jail testing has to make up a decent chunk of that #

That’s it! Lock us down til at least the election!

Doesn’t seem such a crazy thought now, does it. Edwards made it completely obvious yesterday that the restrictions have nothing to do with the virus and 100% to do with his idiotic agenda.

Or perhaps as beds empty they start allowing more elective surgeries and to have an elective surgery they first do a covid test on someone who doesn't feel sick but ends up testing positive.

Proudly never been tested. I will not contribute to the lockdown of my fellow citizens

I wonder how many are getting false tests when they don't have CV-19. My wife and a few neighbors have been sick for about a week and it is all related to piles of dead tree crap from Hurricane Sally. It would be a cold day in hell before any of us would get tested.

Wouldn't you refusing to get tested while negative contribute to the lockdown; assuming their was some logic for the purpose of the lockdown.

We've been flat for a long time in AL too. I think it is frickery on the part of the hospitals. They are admitting as many as they can to milk the cash cow. Would be helpful to monitor the ICU census.
