Are you saying the people who tested postive will be quarantined for 14 days, or the people who came in contact with the people who tested positive.

Most notable people I remember coming in contact with were Cantrell and JBE. Guess they will need to quarantine for 14 days.

I am against contact tracing but II don’t understand how we are going to reopen without giving them something to trace
If you don’t sign in at a store & cashier tests positive are they going to go through debit card transactions? Cashier isn’t going to know who she had contact with.

He says we have to have handle on it & have it up & running before reopen so using example above that’s not having a handle on it so we can’t reopen

I feel like I’m rambling but it doesn’t make sense which does make sense that it’s another goal post he can move & prevent reopening next week

doesn’t plan to require asking businesses to log customers

Note that both JBE and Billioux both always add qualifiers when discussing this. They also mentioned, in passing, that ‘other states are requiring this’. It’s NOT off the table.

Note that JBE has steadily praised Latoya’s leadership in NOLA. This is the same person that has already let the cat out of the bag regarding stay at home order extensions as well as visitor logs being required at businesses when/if they’re allowed to reopen.

I think he's as much of a douche as the rest of you, but it did not sound that way to me. He was asked about how 3 regions looked to be increasing and if that was going to be an indicator that we would extend the SAHO, he said he thought the premise of the question was incorrect. He actually seemed a bit optimistic today. Probably knows he can't extend the order, regardless of what he's being told by LDH.

They’ll probably be overqualified.

These tracers will be a step below your average federally protected TSA Agent. Laughable.

WTF? A little late for this now for presumptive cases.

I didn’t think it was self quarantine, just sort of monitor yourself for symptoms until the end of the 14 day period. We got a email the other day that someone in our building had tested positive and all it pretty much said was what floor they worked on and the last day they were in the building.

Don't forget that John Bel Edwards is a fricking liar. He told the Republicans in the legislature that he wasn't extending the lockdown, then immediately extended it, prompting them to publicly call him a liar. Not hinting at it. Going on the radio and flat calling him a liar. That's a whole bunch of 'pot, kettle, black' right there, but even then, that's pretty extraordinary for one of those career liars to go on the radio and baldly say of another, 'he is a liar'.

As long as that man is breathing, he's lying to you.
