Edwards keeps leaving the dead out of the numbers when talking about cases. He said there are over 9K active cases now. No. It’s 7,366 per the numbers they released 3 hours ago.

Because he is a fear monger trying to hold onto power. Of course increased testing will reveal more positives, but the only information of value now is hospitalizations not total cases. He also relies on total cases not new cases because that's all that fits his narrative of Louisiana is ranked X per capita nationally, which our ranking seems to get lower every press conference.

I don't think they will stop ever.

A local restaurant is selling a gallon of margaritas for $28 and you get free chips/salsa. I'm about to order several and have an open house for those who want to come. Screw you JBE.

My wife did this two weeks ago. I wondered why I had a $60 El Caminos credit card bill

Looking at number of cases doesn’t tell the whole picture. Look at the hospitalizations, they continue to trend down.
We are picking up way more mild cases in the testing that don’t require hospitalization. These cases weren’t picked up a month ago because they were only testing people sick enough to go to the hospital. So in reality the number of cases a month ago was MUCH higher and the drop in cases is actually much steeper than we are seeing.

Contact tracing will never happen. It is a fool's errand at this point. If this involved a disease with a couple of hundred cases, maybe. But this is too widespread with too many asymptomatic for this to ever work. Asymptomatic people are not going to go get themselves tested for Covid. Will never happen, at least not in any meaningful numbers.

It was a joke about the total death numbers.

I want to know how they plan to do it & if the state hires people or uses the people sitting at home drawing a paycheck
I can see friends getting high paying short term jobs wasting federal dollars
