Health department here has a graph showing the onset dates of cases, based on first symptoms or testing date.
It's predictably showing a pretty solid decline overall.

Hospitalization cut nearly in half in just 3 weeks. Only trend that should really matter.

If you are interested in that on the r/coronaviruslouisiana they have a user (appears to be a LDH employee) providing that info and maintaining a pretty good spreadsheet.
Just don't point out errors in their methods or you get your post deleted.

We test all residents and staff June 1-2 and expect all results back within a week, with positives immediately reported (likely within 3 days or so). We’re one of the first facilities in our region but LDH and OPH give me the impression they want to knock everyone out as quickly as possible. They’re dropping the tests to us which is what I assume they’ll do in most cases, so I would expect most facilities will be complete by end of June, ideally. From there, periodic retesting (weekly or biweekly) to be driven by positives according to conversation I had in early May.

It is his choice & he understands if he shows symptoms he will be tested

333 of the daily reported cases where in Caddo parish alone. The previous 5 days Caddo had averaged 18 new cases. 315 of those positives are from Caddo. Bossier reported 21 cases, while the previous 5 day average was 3 cases.

Keep in mind that physicians and surgeons in many procedures are required to have patients tested prior to things like scopes or orthopedic surgeries. I would expect a larger number of tests to be performed going forward. This may be a backlog but more am testing is definitely occurring due to this. And this includes for those who are not even symptomatic

Even with the uptick, the active case count is just over 6k, and just over 5k not in hospitals. With the # of backlogs they are clearing, the recovered # has to jump over 31k Monday.

The facility I know of in region 9 was tested Tuesday and should have the results tomorrow. According to the state they will be tested once a week, this facility has had zero cases so far.

down here in florida they ramping up to like 40,000 tests a day its insane
the good thing is its driving the percentage positive super low, like down to 6% of those tested now coming back positive
