LDH announces 1188 newly reported cases on 5/21/20. Of those cases, 682 (62%) are from labs that are reporting for the first time, with cases stretching as far back as 3/25/20.

Whoever made the decisions to dump two months worth of tests on one day should be fired. If the tests couldn't be back dated then they should be thrown out.

Hospitalizations down and that's all that really matters at this point.

No they aren't. The numbers reported today aren't bad either. To compare a 19k test results percentage, add a couple of days' numbers until you get around 19k tests, and then add the positives for those days. The numbers for today do not show a change in the same downward trend we've had for a month. All they reflect is alot of test reporting in a single day.

You know this....I know this....CNN knows this. You'll tell the correct story....I'll tell the correct story. Guess who won't tell the correct story.

And guess who is sending out the numbers and guess why they are sending them out like they are???

Have we discussed that antibody tests can be apart of these numbers? Apparently many states are doing that

I might be down to start an armed protest if we find that out

If they're going to start counting antibody tests they ought to at least immediately add them straight to the recovered column.

Hospitalizations down to March 27-28 numbers.

800 people in the hospital over this in a state of 4,500,000 people.

Crap data management. LDH should have the capability with a few mouse clicks be able to sort all the positive tests by collection date.

So are you saying that if somebody got an antibody test and it is positive they are adding that positive to the list of confirmed cases?

Because that would take somebody about 4 hours of actual work

Ole Clay jenkin's agrees with this. Dallas county can't seem to so this yet Tarrant county can. Tarrant > Dallas

I thought the point of adding the antibody tests was to drive down the percentage of positive cases so it looks like your cases are declining. If you do 1,000 anitbody tests only a small percent will come back positive when you include it with regular COVID testing the large amount of negative anti body tests helps your percentages.
