It
It baffles me that two month old test results keep popping up. On the bright side, the three day streak of hospitalization increasing has ended.

7 day rolling averages of percent of tests positive still arond 5%
For Louisiana, social distancing and phasing hasnt made a single difference. 4-6% of people tested pop as postive no matter what

F everyone of these numbers ... well just the increase in cases ... 928???? F that.
How did Vermilion parish go from 85 on Tuesday to 99 Wednesday? Don't believe it at all.

Remember, it's really 799 as 129 positives were collected between April 1 and April 5.

Louisiana is going to see the same thing seen by TX, FL, AL, etc. When you open back up, you will get more "cases." Expect it, but you shouldn't be alarmed by it. It won't necessarily translate into a spike in hospitalizations or deaths.

I still haven’t personally known anyone to get the virus since April.

Every state you listed has a uptick in hospitalizations except FL, with AL having the most in the hospital they've had so far, right now
FL is seeing 2k+ cases a day

You’re right but tell that to the disingenuous people in the governor’s mansion and in the media.

And yesterday and today was a pretty damn high number of test.
I'm sick of it. This should have turned into a non-event May 1st for just about the whole country.

I work in a LTC facility (currently working at home .. STILL) ... 50+ cases for residents (More than 70 if you include staff) and 15 deaths are listed on the LDH website (we've had other deaths getting us to more than 20 since March 11 but all were NOT covid).
That said, I only know ** 1 ** person personally that had it and he's a pilot --- his family went to MG and he did not. He swears he got it flying as he got it about a month after MG.

Sorry, but AL hospitalizations have been pretty flat. A slight, gradual rise maybe, but no spike. And deaths are on the decline. Hospitalizations in Mobile and Huntsville for Covid are basically non-existent right now. If it weren't for Montgomery the state would be doing great. And the situation in Montgomery is not something I am going to get into here.
