No records were set. We had around 1500 cases per day and some old tests that added another 1500.

I just go by what the state reports. Those are their numbers. I don’t have any input into how they’re gathered. I crunch the numbers once reported and come here with nothing but facts. Show me a day with more reported new cases than today and I’ll gladly admit I’m wrong.

Tbh, I have no idea how the numbers are when you go on a vent. Is it really that bad as far as people going on a vent? I was pretty worried when I heard the news about it but his wife (no pics) texted me a day or 2 later saying he was off the vent and doing good. And last I saw on FB he was doing good and waiting on a negative test to go back to work

LDHs own info as of 7/15 shows few cases spread from restaurants, retail or they gym. Their own numbers show that bars, industrial settings & food processing places are where the numbers were. It's on a contact tracing graph and IDK how to post it here.

None of that matters.

Bars are already closed, restaurants, gyms and hair salons are next.

Glad I got my haircut this morning

Interesting with BR and the early mask mandate. Should be two if not 3 weeks by now.

Current 7 day rolling average is 28 hospitalizations per day

Previous 7 day rolling average was 49 hospitalizations per day

Both of those numbers are wrong. But keep going man

Lafourche had more than Orleans today?

Orleans has been doing pretty good lately.

They’ve been low on the list for a while now.

April 1st we had 34 deaths. Today 29.

April 1 was also the lowest death count of the first 20 days of that month. This is why rolling average is a better metric for all of this instead of cherry picking individual days to compare

So he's just going to be an arse then. My family and friends don't understand why I get so aggravated -- ok pissed off -- when they put out numbers and then SAY something different.

Are mask being followed in EBR? Are stores enforcing it? Are mask required when we have street parties and shoot each other on Plank Road?

They had their peak early. Now other parts of the state are seeing theirs.
