Why do they say 97% came from community spread? Where else is it coming from? What are they getting at reporting that number?

That it’s not nursing home residents / staff or jail staff / inmates

They are pushing the fact that it isn’t just a nursing home and prison disease any longer.

Please tell me we are not going back to phase 1 next week?

seems too risky to do that before school

dont we need to be in phase 3 before schools are allowed to begin? (heard this but never confirmed)

That Teurlings football player is now home .. his brother however is receiving ECMO treatment in NOLA.

The football player that is home was asking for a darryl's poboy in the icu once he was off of bi-pap. That was straight from his dads fb page.

NOT discounting the seriousness of covid or any individual illness .. just stating what their dad has shared publicly.

Do we have testing rates for that same time period? Obviously that has NOTHING to do with deaths but I’m just curious about the cases

Give me a minute and I can try to put these together all on one. Data gets a little screwed since there is no one source for all of this.

Since the 25th or so testing has been pretty level across the US.

The other day there was a sharp drop to about 85%. Apparently if/when nursing homes dump you see that stat move.

Well yeh its the younger crowd that is getting it. It was just a matter of time before the youngins got it. It's a virus it's gonna spread.

Don’t quote me in that though. I believe you can do in person schooling for phase 2 and 3

Yeah, I'm not saying the kid is never going to recover. I'm just saying these numbers and a story like that is bad for public perception at this moment. Whether it is right or wrong, you know people don't look past the surface.

Phase 2 allows kids in school with masks and all that shite and I think it is pretty much the same for phase 3 but you can do bigger group things like pep rallys.

Yep and now we are seeing that we overreacted because everybody is popping positive and only 1% or less end up in hospital

Yep. Can you imagine if they ran stories in the media during the Swine Flu when a couple of young kids died in Lafayette ?
