Ventilator Total - 152

Drop that bitch down to 151. After 3 months on the vent, my dad is officially off as of today. Next step drop that hospitalization number by one.

Suck it Covid

Hmm

Every day I hear of a new case from people close to me

Seeing an increase in both deaths AND hospitalizations is a bad sign. 50 people die but hospitalizations jump up 70. Assume the deaths come off the hospitalization roll, you’d hope to see a reduction in hospitalizations but it isn’t so..

I might be wrong but I don't think deaths are reported that quickly.

A death is not counted until the official death certificate has been completed & reported to the state, this sometimes takes a week, sometimes it takes several weeks

quote:

There have been 50 deaths reported to the state since yesterday. The current total death count is 6,895.

50 people did not die this morning
50 deaths were reported this morning
The actual death dates are noted by LDH
It takes time to process that’s why you see the drop off

& I have yet to have anyone in my family or group of friends have it

i still don't see how 150k+ are being tested every week.

Had to go to Urgent Care over the weekend. Wait was about 1 1/2 hours, then they triage you over the phone, eventually get in a room where you MUST take a COVID test in order to be seen. If positive, doctor calls you for a virtual visit, if negative he will come in and do an actual evaluation.

Was in there for a deep laceration and thought stitches may be needed (I was wrong). Did not have any symptoms of any sort of cold, fever, sniffles, allergies.... still had to do the COVID test. Came back negative, but that's how you crank out tests; make everyone that shows up take a test.

If people would just mask up, plug their assholes and women tape their snappers shut COVID would’ve died out long ago

And we have to stop having alcohol after 10:00PM. This part is very important.

It’s already leveling off. We’ve been at 7-10% positive for 3 weeks. That’s not exponential increase.

Numbers will slowly start falling soon.

With vaccines rolling out I predict this will be the final wave

WOW! I just went and washed my hands for 30 seconds.

I gargled with sanitizer and left my hands in boiled water for a minute.

That is extremely odd

You either have no friends and family or just ignoring it

I just heard of another friend this evening. That makes 12 in the past 2 weeks

I only know coworkers that have had it. No family or friends.

I know people that have had it, I know of 2 people that died with it
No one in my immediate group of friends has had it
A friend from high school had it, I don’t count this person in my group of friends as I have not seen them in over 10 years
